Hyperlocal Publisher Shout Out: Portland Press Herald

by: Reilly O'Connor, on Jun 20, 2014 in Publisher Shout Outs

Check out one of the latest publishers to sign up with Local Yokel Media – the Portland Press Herald. Founded in 1862, the Portland Press Herald is one of the largest daily newspapers in Maine. Focusing on the southern part of the state, they have long been the go-to paper for local news, sports, business, and listings.

The Portland Press Herald is one of several publications owned by MaineToday Media, a compilation of trusted news and information sources for local, state, national and international matters. MaineToday Media’s other publications include the Kennebec Journal and Morning Sentinel – who we also work with – focusing on Central Maine. The Kennebec Journal happens to be the oldest newspaper in Maine, as well as one of the most widely read papers in the state.  The three newspapers have been jointly owned for several decades, and we wish them continued success for years to come.

Follow the Portland Press Herald on FacebookTwitter, and LinkedIn if you want to know what’s happening in the Southern Maine!
